Despite the split, Kirkman remains confident in the show’s success, noting that it continues to perform well on Prime Video.

“I’ve certainly heard from people who didn’t care for it.”

He understands that interrupting the viewing experience can be frustrating for fans, but stands by the decision, stating,

“Overall, I think it went well.”

Despite any initial reservations, the latter half of Season 2 has been well-received, with the show still maintaining its position as a top performer on Amazon’s platform.

Looking ahead, Season 3 of Invincible is already in development, and it remains to be seen whether it will follow a similar release pattern.

With the conclusion of Season 2 leaving protagonist Mark on a darker trajectory, fans are eager for what comes next. For now, viewers can catch up on the first two seasons of Invincible, along with the Atom Eve special episode, streaming on Prime Video.
