“Doctor Slump” depicts the love story of two former rivals who reunite and unexpectedly become each other’s support during a challenging period. Park Hyung Sik portrays Yeo Jung Woo, a renowned plastic surgeon whose career faces jeopardy due to a peculiar medical mishap.

Meanwhile, Park Shin Hye takes on the role of Nam Ha Neul, a dedicated anesthesiologist battling burnout syndrome.

In the previous episode, Nam Ha Neul decided to return to her former hospital after receiving an offer for the assistant professor position she had long desired. On the other hand, Yeo Jung Woo grappled with conflicting emotions following the loss of Min Kyung Min (Oh Dong Min), whom he regarded as family.
