Chapter 251 of the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen is scheduled to be officially released on Monday, February 19th, 2024. However, spoilers for the chapter have already emerged several days prior.

According to these early leaks, the upcoming installment will depict protagonist Yuji frantically trying to reach out to Megumi’s soul in hopes of rescuing him from the villain Sukuna’s control.

Additionally, the powerful sorcerer Maki Zenin, who has been absent from recent chapters, will make her return.

Her sudden appearance on the battlefield will likely be welcomed by the other protagonists from Jujutsu High, as her combat skills could prove instrumental.

Wielding her deadly Katana sword known as the Soul Splitter, which she inherited from her late sister Mai, Maki manages to catch the formidable Sukuna off guard and succeeds in impaling him.

Fans eagerly await the full chapter release to see how these events unfold and impact the climactic showdown.

Yuji and Yuta’s Bold Assault on Sukuna

The chapter opens with Sukuna expressing shock at how Yuta was able to mimic his powerful technique.

Yuta then questions if Sukuna has retrieved his 20th finger, hinting that Yuta himself has consumed it.

Despite the dire situation, Yuta and Yuji continue their fierce combined assault on Sukuna. In a clever move, Yuji spits blood into Sukuna’s eyes to temporarily blind the Curse.

Recognizing the danger he now faces, Sukuna prepares to utilize his devastating World-Cutting Slash technique, which will likely diminish his defenses against Yuta’s formidable Domain Expansion and Jacob’s Ladder attack within it.

However, Yuta persists undaunted with his offensive, not allowing Sukuna even a moment to counterattack. At the same time, Yuji pushes his capabilities to the limit in an attempt to reach and assist the imperiled Megumi, hoping to turn the tide of battle.

In a flashback, it’s shown that Yuji previously received crucial guidance from Hana and Angel on properly utilizing Jacob’s Ladder technique to separate Megumi from Sukuna’s control.

In the present, the blood Yuji had smeared on Sukuna’s face explodes, allowing Yuji to forcefully breach the metaphysical barrier between Sukuna and Megumi’s souls.

Yuji urgently calls out to Megumi, pleading with him to wake up from his dangerous unconscious state.

Despite the careful planning and precision Yuji and Yuta employed in attempting to rescue Megumi, an unexpected obstacle arises.

It seems Megumi himself has lost the will to live after the crushing weight of his tribulations. In a heartbreaking moment, Megumi begs Yuji to stop trying to save him, declaring he has suffered enough and it’s time to surrender to his fate.

Meanwhile, as the fight rages on, Sukuna unleashes a devastating counterattack, shattering Yuta’s Domain Expansion by invoking three incantations:

“Dragon Scales. Repel. Pair of Falling Stars.”

Although none perish in the aftermath, Yuta, Yuji, and Rika all suffer grievous wounds from Sukuna’s ruthless slashes. However, just as the tide seems to turn in Sukuna’s favor, an unexpected arrival shifts the balance again.

Maki Zenin, a fierce sorcerer without cursed energy, jumps into the fray, launching a daring attack on the formidable Sukuna. The preview tantalizingly states:

“The strike of the fierce sorcerer without cursed energy.”

Alleged chapter 251 leaks hint Maki may have used the Soul Splitter Katana, a dying gift from her late sister Mai. Previously, Maki utilized this potent weapon to massacre the Zenin clan and defeat Naoya’s Vengeful Cursed Spirit form.

Concurrently, a coalition of Cursed Spirits, including Mahito and the executed sorcerer Suguru Geto, secretly plots multifaceted attacks on Jujutsu society.

Gojo partners Yuji with fellow first-years Megumi and Nobara Kugisaki, training them as sorcerers. But during a mission, Sukuna seizes control of Yuji’s body, so Yuji allows them both to perish.

Yet Sukuna resurrects Yuji, having developed an interest in Megumi. Aware authorities intend to execute Yuji, Gojo hides his resurrection to proceed with training him.

On a mission with veteran sorcerer Kento Nanami, Yuji befriends student Junpei Yoshino, who falls prey to Mahito’s manipulation, fueling Yuji’s vow of vengeance.
