Leading up to IU’s concert, her management company has intervened in the fight against ticket scalpers. They’ve implemented stricter measures to combat the surge in unauthorized ticket sales.

On February 29, IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, posted a notice titled ‘2024 IU H.E.R. WORLD TOUR CONCERT IN SEOUL: Invalid Ticket 2nd Cancellation Information’ on IU’s official fan cafe.

The notice detailed the company’s actions against 44 bookings identified as fraudulent transactions, in accordance with its policies.

Consequently, five individuals who made bookings using the same contact details, along with those involved in suspicious transactions, were permanently removed from IU’s official fan club.

Additionally, 29 general ticket buyers suspected of engaging in dubious transactions related to this concert had their tickets canceled and were prohibited from joining IU’s official fan club or making future concert bookings.

The company has ramped up monitoring efforts to detect instances of ticket scalping associated with IU’s concert tickets.

In instances where evidence is insufficient, additional identity verification will be mandated for on-site ticket collection or entry.

These heightened measures are designed to thwart ticket scalping problems for IU’s concerts, ensuring fans can obtain tickets through an equitable and transparent process.

The company intends to maintain its vigilance, pursue further action against ticket scalping, and solicit ongoing support and cooperation from fans.

Following her Seoul shows, IU will take her world tour to various cities including Yokohama, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, London, Berlin, Bangkok, Osaka, Newark, Atlanta, Washington D.C., Rosemont, Auckland, and Los Angeles.
