Exciting news for fans of “I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level”! The highly-anticipated season 2 has shared a brand-new teaser image and set its premiere for 2025. But that’s not all the anime is getting a makeover with a new studio and fresh faces on the team.

Studio Teddy is charge of the anime, with Kunihisa Sugishima as the director. Naohiro Fukushima is writing the story, and Hikaru Kodama is designing the characters.

Keiji Inai is back to make the music for the second season. The same cast will also return to play their roles: Aoi Yuki as Azusa, Kaede Hondo as Laika, Sayaka Sembongi as Falfa, Minami Tanaka as Shalsha, Manami Numakura as Beelzebub, Azumi Waki as Flatorte, Riho Sugiyama as Rosalie, and Yukari Tamura as Pecora.

The first season of “I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level” came out on April 10, 2021. Revoroot made the animation for the show.

This anime is based on a series of light novels written by Kisetsu Morita and illustrated by Benio. The first light novel volume was published by SB Creative in 2017, and now there are 19 volumes. The latest one came out in December 2021.

Plot

In I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years season 1 we followed Azusa’s journey from a tired office worker to an undying witch in a new world.

After dying from overwork, Azusa decided to live a stress-free life, earning her keep by hunting slimes. But after some time her simple job turned into something extraordinary as she gained incredible powers from the slimes she hunted.

Azusa became known as the “Slime Slayer” for her unmatched strength. Despite her desire for a quiet life, her fame grew, and she found herself in the spotlight.

When the kingdom faced a powerful monster threat, Azusa was called upon to help. Reluctantly, she accepted the challenge, realizing that her powers could be used for good.

Throughout her adventure, Azusa formed unexpected friendships and discovered the true extent of her strength. In the end, she saved the kingdom, by embracing her role as the legendary “Slime Slayer.”

She continues her peaceful life, hunting slimes and protecting her friends, all while basking in the fame she never sought.
