James Martin has allegedly parted ways with his longtime girlfriend, Louise Davies, yet the TV chef appears to have swiftly started a new chapter. ITV’s Saturday Morning host, aged 51, has been seen in the company of personal trainer Kim Johnson, former spouse of businessman Arun Nayar.

Reports indicate that James Martin and Davies called it quits in December last year, following a 12-year relationship that began in 2011. A spokesperson has confirmed the split, marking the end of an era for the couple.

Just last week, the familiar TV personality was seen on Old Bond Street accompanied by Johnson. Images acquired depict the duo walking closely together along the bustling central London thoroughfare.

Martin opted for a black gilet layered over a relaxed blue shirt paired with jeans, while Johnson wore a black miniskirt matched with a black jumper.

Before Martin’s separation from Davies, the pair resided in a Hampshire mansion, with the chef expressing his contentment with remaining unmarried. This relationship shifts occur shortly after Martin disclosed his battle with cancer in 2023, amidst reports of alleged “bullying” from individuals closely associated with him.

The initial complaint arose in 2018, purportedly triggered by a blocked drain at his residence, while the latest complaint was lodged with ITV in May of the previous year.

Shortly thereafter, in July, Martin took to social media to release a comprehensive and frank statement detailing his health struggles.

He explained he’d been undergoing treatment for cancer “for the last five years,” adding:

“The end of 2017 was one of the most fraught and difficult periods of my life.

“I was dealing with the death of my last living grandparent, my grandfather, and on account of work commitments, I could not attend his funeral.

“Later that month I was burgled at night by a team of masked men, who entered my house while my partner Louise was at home alone and I was away working.

“I was devastated that she had to go through that alone,” Martin added. He went on to reveal: “On top of this I was then diagnosed with cancer on my face and I had to have surgery, which I couldn’t do until two days before Christmas when we had finished filming.

“Since then it has returned on several occasions and I have to have regular treatments.”

In his latest health update in November last year, Martin expressed gratitude to his supporters. Addressing the audience during an on-stage performance at Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall, he conveyed,

“On a personal note, I just wanted to say thank you for 30 years of television. For me personally, I’ve been through a lot of s**t with cancer but I’m getting sorted at the end of next month,” concluding with heartfelt appreciation, “I just wanted to say thank you for all your support and all your messages.”
