He mentioned that coordinating the schedules of the large ensemble cast could be difficult and might require piecing the production together on a week-by-week basis. The revelation of Robert Downey Jr.’s new role as Doctor Doom was a surprise to Renner, who learned about it along with the public during San Diego Comic-Con.
