Joe Alwyn made a rare public appearance at the BSBP’s pre-BAFTAs dinner at Dunhill Bourdon House in London on Tuesday, February 13. During the event, the 32-year-old actor had the chance to catch up with his Conversations With Friends co-star Alison Oliver, 26. The two stars shared a photo together at the party, marking a pleasant reunion.

Well, Joe Alwyn, who notably dated Taylor Swift from 2016 to 2023, was seen in a black tuxedo at the event. As the night progressed, he loosened his bowtie, letting it rest around his neck. Alison, on the other hand, wore a navy blue blazer paired with leather pants. Initially, she accessorized with a blue scarf adorned with yellow flowers, but had ditched it by the time they posed together.

Well, Joe and Alison played prominent roles in the 2022 miniseries adapted from Sally Rooney’s 2017 novel. Alongside them, the show featured Sasha Lane and Jemima Kirke as well.

Joe and Taylor parted ways in April 2023. Following the breakup, a source close to them disclosed that they weren’t a perfect match, encountering some challenges throughout their romance.

“They’ve had rough patches before and always worked things out, so friends thought they would take some time apart but eventually come back together,” they told at the time. “They had plenty in common and fell in love in a safe bubble while she was retreating from the world during Reputation. Then the pandemic hit, and they were locked down together and able to continue growing their relationship in this insulated way. But he didn’t really ‘know’ her yet outside of that bubble.”

Since the breakup, Joe has predominantly stayed out of the spotlight, making occasional appearances at red-carpet events and other functions.

Meanwhile, Taylor has been openly supporting her new beau, Travis Kelce, since they went public with their romance in late 2023. Recently, the “Anti-Hero” singer was spotted cheering him on as he led his team to victory in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.
