The story centers on high school student Yuji Itadori, whose grandfather imparted him with the mantras to “always help others” and “die surrounded by people.”

After Yuji’s occult club friends accidentally unseal a cursed talisman, he swallows it to save sorcerer Megumi Fushiguro, becoming the vessel for the powerful curse Ryomen Sukuna.

Sukuna’s evil nature means sorcerers must kill Yuji immediately, but Megumi’s teacher Satoru Gojo sees potential in Yuji retaining control over his body.
