Justin Timberlake was recently arraigned on a charge of driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York. According to police reports, Timberlake was spotted driving his 2025 BMW in an intoxicated state around 12:37 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Allegedly, he failed to stop at a stop sign and maintain his lane. When stopped by an officer, Timberlake admitted to having had one martini and claimed he was following his friend’s home, as per court records.

During the traffic stop, officers noted Timberlake’s bloodshot and glassy eyes and detected a strong smell of alcohol on his breath, according to court documents. He allegedly displayed signs of impairment, such as slowed speech, unsteadiness, and poor performance on field sobriety tests. Timberlake reportedly refused a chemical test three times, initially stating, “No, I’m not doing a chemical test.”

Following his arrest, Timberlake spent the night in custody and was arraigned without bail. His attorney confirmed that he was also cited for traffic violations related to the incident. A court date has been set for July 26 to address the charges.

Sag Harbor, located in the Hamptons, was the site of Timberlake’s arrest shortly after leaving the American Hotel, according to sources familiar with the matter. The incident comes amidst Timberlake’s ongoing tour promoting his latest album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” with his next scheduled performance in Chicago.

Timberlake, 43, is married to actress and producer Jessica Biel, and they have two sons, Silas aged 9, and Phineas aged 3.
