Renowned Japanese wrestler KENTA is making waves outside of NJPW and in NJPW since leaving WWE. He’s famously argued with CM Punk, who frequently made fun of him. After Punk’s talk on MMA Hour, KENTA recently quipped that Punk need to give him royalties.
KENTA has a past with CM Punk. KENTA is still irritated with Punk for revealing that he stole his GTS finishing back in 2012. They don’t seem to be done fighting.
CM Punk talked about his return to WWE, leaving AEW, and other topics in an interview with Ariel Helwani. Subsequently, KENTA posted on Twitter, implying that Punk should receive royalties for being “the real best in the world.”
WWE and AEW are keeping a close eye on Punk after his intense interview. It’s unclear if Punk will be held accountable for his remarks.
