It all began on the March 8th episode of SmackDown, where they joined forces and secured a victory against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. Since then, their partnership has been causing ripples in the WWE universe.

Their next tag team outing is set to take place at today’s WWE Backlash France premium live event, happening at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines.

The duo is scheduled to face off against Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga, marking a significant moment for Tonga as he makes his WWE PLE in-ring debut. However, all eyes will be on Owens during this event as he’s on the verge of making history.

WWE Stats took to Twitter to highlight Owens’ upcoming historic feat. According to their tweet, Owens will become the first Superstar to team up with Orton in a regular tag team match and oppose him in another regular tag team match at a PLE/PPV event.

This excludes multi-man tag team matches like six-man tags and Survivor Series Elimination matches.
