Adapted from a popular web novel and scripted by “True Beauty” writer Lee Si Eun, “Lovely Runner” introduces a new time-slip romance narrative, pondering the scenario: “What would you do if you had the chance to rescue your ultimate bias?”
Taking the lead in the drama is Kim Hye Yoon portraying Im Sol, an ardent admirer left devastated by the passing of her beloved artist Ryu Sun Jae (portrayed by Byun Woo Seok), prompting her journey back to the year 2008 to alter his destiny.
The first poster depicts Im Sol openly showcasing her affection for Ryu Sun Jae. Adorned with a headband bearing Sun Jae’s name, Im Sol leaps passionately towards him, enveloping him in an embrace with unwavering determination—and her bold gesture elicits a shy grin from him.
Accompanying the image is a caption underscoring Im Sol’s resolve to change Ryu Sun Jae’s tragic course, asserting, “From now on, I’m going to stay right by your side and protect you!”
The second poster captures two contrasting moments between the protagonists. In one frame, Im Sol stands beneath a yellow umbrella, beaming radiantly at Ryu Sun Jae, while in another, it is Ryu Sun Jae sheltering Im Sol from the rain under a blue umbrella.
The caption reads, “No matter what, I’m going to protect [us]! Both you and me!”
