Actress Kim Yoo Jung showcases her compassionate side with a significant donation to aid pediatric cancer patients. On February 15, the Korea Children’s Cancer Foundation revealed that Kim Yoo Jung had donated 100 million won, equivalent to approximately $75,000, to assist in covering treatment expenses for children facing childhood cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable illnesses.

“They further expressed, “The donation delivered in Kim Yoo Jung’s name will be used to cover treatment costs for children suffering from childhood cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases.” 

Expressing her heartfelt sentiments, Kim Yoo Jung conveyed,

“I hope that children will not lose their dreams and be healthier in the new year”.

Her donation serves as a beacon of hope for families facing the immense emotional and financial burdens of pediatric cancer treatment.

Hong Seung Yoon, director of the Korea Children’s Cancer Foundation, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Kim Yoo Jung for her compassionate support. He emphasized, 

“We would like to thank actress Kim Yoo Jung for her warmhearted support. We ask for lots of interest and love for children with pediatric cancer and leukemia”.

Kim Yoo Jung’s compassionate act coincides with her recent success in the drama realm, particularly her portrayal of the character Do Do Hee in the series ‘My Demon’. Her mature and captivating performance has enthralled audiences, earning her accolades such as the Top Excellence in the Rom-Com Miniseries award at the esteemed 2023 SBS Drama Awards.
