In the last few chapters, we were introduced to Tadano, a high school student, and she ended up participating in a group discussion with the strangest possible group.
The group was made of Sokoichi triplets, a foreigner from Egypt, an extremely shy and introverted Komi as well as Tadano, the normal person among them all.
Somehow, the group discussion just went off-tangent, and they couldn’t come up with a decent enough answer. However, it looks like the judges have no intention of failing them due to their group chemistry.

Murako Tadano wanted to study international communication at Aoyama Academy, but it seems like they had a rigorous process for admission.
There were several rounds of selection, and group discussion was the first one. Tadano wished for a good group so she wouldn’t collectively fail, but her wish didn’t come true.
Even so, it was nice seeing Komi make some progress and try to participate in the group discussion, even though it was a bit awkward. The Sokoichi triplets were annoyingly enthusiastic but none of them seemed like a bad person. Maybe that was why Tadano felt bad for finding them irritating.
The series is pretty heartwarming with romance sprinkled on top of it as we watch Komi try to break out of her shell and go on a journey to make hundred friends.

In the previous chapter of Komi-San Wa Komyushou Desu, a new character Muraka Tadano, who is an average high school girl is introduced to us.
Muraka was aspiring to study at the prestigious Aoyama Academy, which had a rigorous admission process. The applicant had to go through several rounds of selection to get admission.
Of course, Muraka was extremely nervous about the first round, which was a group discussion, but her hopes were crushed when she saw her group.
There was a set of triplets, an Egyptian who spoke random words, and an extremely introverted girl in her group, which already made things unfavorable.
Muraka takes the mantle and decides to drive the discussion by introducing herself first. The Sokoichi triplets came next and said that soy sauce and wasabi was their favorite in unison.
The foreigner just says a single word that makes no sense, and Komi replies that she likes plain salt on her eggs.
The first group discussion concluded with maximum votes for Soy Sauce and wasabi since the triplets were basically ganging up together and had the same choices.
The second question asked them about achieving world peace and the Sokoichi triplets began giving very vague and unrealistic answers.
Muraka tries to intervene by debating on that topic but the triplets just threaten to outvote her. The discussion was getting heated when Komi suddenly said she liked ketchup with her eggs.
It was pretty funny since the topic had ended long ago, and Muraka was absolutely baffled by where things were heading. The conversation gets completely derailed, and Muraka becomes annoyed by Komi.
However, Komi shows Murata her kind and considerate side, which makes Muraka change her mind and begin liking Komi.
