A trailer and main visual have been revealed for the upcoming Laid-Back Camp Season 3. The trailer showcases previews of the opening song “Laid-back Journey” by Kimi no Ne and the ending song “So Precious” by Asaka.
Laid-Back Camp Season 3 is set to premiere on April 4. The series is based on the manga by Afro, published by Houbunsha since 2015, with 16 tankoubon volumes as of March 2024. Originally serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward, the manga now resides in the COMIC FUZ app. Fans are eagerly anticipating the new season!
The new season of Laid-Back Camp will be made by studio 8-bit, led by director Shin Tosaka. Masafumi Sugiura is in charge of the series composition, while Takanori Hashimoto handles the character designs. Akiyuki Tateyama is creating the music, and Takeshi Takadera is the sound director.
For the theme songs, Kimi no ne will perform the opening, and Asaka will sing the ending. Excitingly, the main cast members will return to reprise their roles.
Yumiri Hanamori will voice Nadeshiko Kagamihara, Nao Touyama takes on the role of Rin Shima, Aki Toyosaki portrays Aoi Inuyama, Sayuri Hara voices Chiaki Ogaki, Rie Takahashi is set to voice Ena Saito, and Tomoyo Kurosawa will play Ayano Toki.
The first two seasons of Laid-Back Camp premiered in 2018 and 2021 respectively. In July 2022, Japan saw the release of an anime movie following the cast as adults. Additionally, there was an anime adaptation of the Room Camp spin-off that premiered in 2020.
Season 3 is being produced by a different animation studio compared to the previous seasons, and there have been some staff changes involved in its production. Crunchyroll is currently streaming both the first and second seasons of the anime.

About Laid-Back Camp
The story revolves around Nadeshiko, a high school student who moves from Shizuoka to Yamanashi. Determined to see the famous Mount Fuji featured on the 1000 yen bill, she embarks on a biking journey to Motosu.
However, her plans are thwarted by worsening weather, forcing her to turn back. Exhausted and disoriented, Nadeshiko faints along the way.
When she awakens, it’s nighttime in an unfamiliar place with no way of getting home. Fortunately, she encounters Rin, a seasoned camper who is out alone. Rin extends a helping hand, rescuing Nadeshiko from her predicament.
This encounter marks the beginning of an outdoor adventure as Nadeshiko’s journey intertwines with Rin’s, forming a bond between the two girls amidst the beauty of nature.
