Lauren Alaina has something new to share and sing about! Cam Arnold describes the wedding celebration as “big, loud” as the 29-year-old country music star tied the knot at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville on Sunday. Congratulations!

“Big” proves an understatement as the couple welcomed a staggering 450 guests, including celebrities Jason and Brittany Aldean, HARDY with wife Caleigh Ryan, Lindsay Ell, and Shay Mooney from Dan + Shay, to witness their winter nuptials.

“Here’s the funny thing: I wanted a small wedding and Cameron wanted a big wedding. So we compromised — and had a 450-person guest list,” Alaina jokes, stating, “I think it’s just a reflection of how fortunate we are — we have a lot of people who love us and we love a lot of people.”

Alaina revealed the couple selected the venue for its grandeur and musical vibes, expressing, “The Symphony Center is such an iconic place, and when I walked in and looked at it, I just knew that’s where I wanted to get married,” recalling the sentiment as the “Don’t Judge a Woman” singer.

Collaborating with Sara Fried of Fête Nashville Luxury Weddings, the couple orchestrated their dream nuptials in just a month, navigating a last-minute change in planners.

Sara Fried shared insights into the couple’s wedding vision, detailing the creation of a magical setting in Schermerhorn’s garden courtyard for their ceremony.

Lauren and Cam exchanged vows under a beautiful floral arch with overflowing fountains adorned in white flowers. Sara Fried describes the wintery emerald green and gold color palette continuing into the reception, featuring lots of velvet, a custom floral canopy over the dance floor, and fun Southern details, including cowhide rugs.

Alaina and Arnold crafted personalized vows, incorporating their two dogs and nieces/nephews into the ceremony officiated by Arnold’s friend, Henry Valentine Geny.

“Our siblings all stood up there with us as we got married. And Cameron’s dad was his best man, which was super sweet,” says the country chart-topper. “It was a very emotional, very heartfelt ceremony.”

Dressed in an Anne Barge gown, custom-designed by creative director Shawne Jacobs, Alaina’s attire boasted a V-notched strapless bodice and a modified trumpet skirt of hand-beaded, floral-embossed jacquard. Accompanied by a pleated detachable overskirt and an Alençon lace long-sleeved mock-neck topper, the “Thicc as Thieves” singer adorned her look with a dramatic, chapel-length veil in hand-beaded Alençon lace.

“Designing her custom Anne Barge gown was such a wonderful experience, filled with lots of laughter and special moments,” Jacobs tells PEOPLE. “The custom gown itself blends timeless elegance of French Alençon lace with a contemporary floral jacquard fabric that was hand-beaded.”

Alaina’s bouquet, crafted by Forget Me Not Designs, featured a stunning combination of white roses, scabiosa, calla lilies, agonis, anemones, and dark green seasonal foliage.

Music played a central role in the ceremony as Arnold approached the altar with the couple’s best friends, Ben and Lauren Johnson, performing “Neon Moon” by Brooks & Dunn on cello and violin. The bridal party’s processional featured an instrumental version of Alaina’s song “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me.” Alaina, walking down the aisle, was accompanied by an instrumental rendition of her special song for Arnold, titled “Breaking Up with Single.”

The newlyweds shared their first dance to “Feet Off the Ground” by Brent Cobb, featuring Jade Bird—a song that holds special significance for them. Alaina explains, “We listen to that song a lot together. It’s kind of become our song.”

The reception commenced with a casual “around-the-world”-style station dinner, offering a diverse culinary experience with Asian, American, Mexican, and Greek fare. Alaina expressed, “We didn’t do a seated dinner. I couldn’t even imagine assigning seats for 450 people.”

The multitiered wedding cake by Nashville Sweets showcased black icing adorned with gold accents and offered four delectable flavors, including Alaina’s favorite, raspberry chocolate. In addition, Arnold had a groom’s cake inspired by Budweiser.

To conclude their wedding weekend, Alaina and Arnold plan to host a send-off brunch, indulging in burgers and beer to celebrate their newlywed status as Mr. and Mrs. Following this, the couple anticipates a honeymoon in Hawaii, expressing excitement as neither of them has visited before.

Quietly starting their relationship in 2020 after meeting at Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa festival in Mexico, Alaina and Arnold later made their romance public on the renowned Grand Ole Opry stage on Nov. 19, 2022—the night following their engagement.

Before her performance, Alaina joyfully shared her engagement news with the crowd at the Grand Ole Opry, expressing her excitement about being part of the Opry family and now having another family. She proudly introduced her then-fiancé on stage, declaring him her future husband, creating a memorable moment with the audience. Reflecting on her wedding day, Alaina considers herself fortunate to have Arnold as her new husband, describing him as her “safe place to call home forever.”

“I’m excited to have someone to celebrate everything with. To have a definite first call, always,” she says. “And just a partnership that is so much stronger than any other partnership you have. It’s exciting to know you have someone to celebrate everything with and to share hardships with, to have someone that will walk through life with you, good and bad.”

Arnold expresses equal excitement about entering this new chapter with Alaina, emphasizing the significance of marriage. He looks forward to supporting and being the No. 1 fan of Lauren’s flourishing career. Alaina shares their future plans, envisioning a few years of marriage before potentially starting a family, emphasizing their commitment to growing together.
