SBS’s forthcoming drama “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” teases viewers with a new trailer featuring the enigmatic voice of Medusa, a mysterious character.

As a follow-up to the successful 2023 series “The Escape of the Seven,” the second season continues the tale of revenge where seven individuals, resurfacing from the depths of hell, confront a fresh evil alliance, led by Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon).

The teaser begins with an ominous figure observing Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon) from afar. Through a voice modulation system, Medusa cryptically addresses Min Do Hyuk, stating, “Congratulations on coming back alive, Min Do Hyuk.” Describing oneself as a potential ally or foe, Medusa adds, “If you don’t follow my order, you will be eliminated at any time. I hold your life in my hands,” intensifying the suspense.

Inquiring about Medusa’s intentions, Min Do Hyuk is met with a chilling response: “Matthew’s death and Geum Ra Hee’s (Hwang Jung Eum’s) death.” The teaser further depicts Min Do Hyuk engaging in a tense confrontation with Matthew Lee, while Geum Ra Hee is seen in distress.
