Star News talked on March 29th that Lee Kwang-soo is set to grace the screens as the inaugural guest on SBS’s highly anticipated entertainment program, “When There’s A Chance (literal title).” Scheduled to premiere its debut episode on May 23rd, the show is helmed by PD Choi Bo-pil, renowned for his work on “Running Man,” and writer Chae Jin-ah, known for her contributions to Netflix’s original series “Siren: Survive the Island.”

“When There’s A Chance” is positioned as a follow-up to the popular show “Strong Heart VS” and promises to offer viewers a delightful array of fortunate moments from everyday life. Broadcasting every Tuesday at 10:20 p.m., the program will feature veteran broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk and esteemed actor Yoo Yeon-Seok as co-MCs, adding to the anticipation surrounding its premiere.

Lee Kwang-soo’s participation as the inaugural guest serves not only to support his close colleagues Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-Seok but also marks his return to SBS entertainment shows since his departure from “Running Man” in 2021. Having been an integral part of the beloved variety show since its inception in 2010, Lee Kwang-soo bid farewell to “Running Man” after 11 years, citing a desire to focus on his acting endeavours following a car accident in 2020 that resulted in a fractured ankle.

As anticipation mounts for his guest appearance on “When There’s A Chance,” fans eagerly await the opportunity to witness Lee Kwang-soo’s trademark humour and charm once again grace their screens.
