For the third season of Leverage: Redemption, two key characters will be back. The July 2021 debut of the resurrection of Leverage follows repentant criminals as they utilize their special talents to aid common people in resisting corporate and political injustices, carrying on the idea of the original series.

It was revealed that Leverage: Redemption has been renewed for a third season and will be moving from its old home on Amazon Freevee to Prime Video, almost a year after the show’s season two finale.

It has now been confirmed by TVLine that Noah Wyle and Aleyse Shannon, who were in the revival cast, will play hacker Breanna Casey and former lawyer Harry Wilson in Leverage: Redemption season 3.

The news also affirms that Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, Aldis Hodge, Gina Bellman, and the rest of the crew will return. Nevertheless, Hodge will keep making recurrent appearances once Alec Hardison, his character, leaves the Leverage team. Timothy Hutton, the star of the original series, is not present in Leverage: Redemption. He was also not present in the first two seasons.

What To Know Before Leverage: Redemption Season 3

Leverage: There will be a big change going on behind the scenes in Redemption. The third chapter of Leverage will be helmed and executive produced by none other than John Rogers, who co-created the first one. He’d previously been a consulting producer on the revival.

Additionally, the tale is set to continue where the last chapter left off, with Sophie beginning to move past her remorse. There remain unresolved questions in the Leverage: Redemption season 2 conclusion, despite its hopeful tone. Even though Arthur (Damian O’Hare) and Ramsey (Ralph Brown) are skilled criminals who could easily escape, they are under arrest.

Should the program get renewed, those plots might get more traction. This indicates that the team’s attempt to eliminate Arthur is eventually futile, but it does pave the way for an exciting third season. Leverage: The resurrection stands to gain significantly from Redemption’s transfer to Prime Video.

With action thrillers like Reacher, Jack Ryan, and the Bosch sequel series, the streamer has had great success. With its caper drama style and intriguing premise, the impending addition makes sense, and with Prime Video’s extensive viewership, it might find a larger following.
