On February 5th, News1 reported that LimeLight, as disclosed, contributed 1 million yen (around 7,300 US dollars) to aid recovery post an earthquake in the Noto Peninsula, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. The donation was made through the Japanese Red Cross.

LimeLight, widely embraced in Japan with Ito Miyu as a prominent member, had previously conveyed their dedication to contributing a share of album sales revenue to charitable causes. This pledge came to fruition as they donated 1 million yen from their sales proceeds.

The group stated, “All artists under 143 Entertainment, including us, have received immense happiness and smiles from our activities in Japan. We hope to give back and provide some assistance to those affected by the disaster, wishing for their swift return to daily life.”

The generous donation follows a devastating magnitude 7.6 earthquake on the Noto Peninsula last month, causing 238 fatalities and displacing 14,643 individuals.

LimeLight, introduced as a trio in September 2022, is strongly considering the addition of members Kang Yeseo and Mashiro from the project group Kep1er after the conclusion of their contracts.
