Exciting news has emerged that Harding is now in talks for the head coach position at the Charlotte Hornets, as confirmed by reports from ESPN and The Athletic. This potential move represents a significant milestone in her coaching career.

Harding’s basketball journey began with an outstanding college career, earning her the prestigious Naismith College Player of the Year title while playing for Duke University in 2007. Her exceptional talent propelled her to become the top pick in the 2007 WNBA Draft, marking the beginning of a nine-year career in the league.

How did Harding fare during her playing days?

Throughout her WNBA career, which spanned 270 games with 210 starts, Harding showcased her skills as a guard for teams including the Minnesota Lynx, Washington Mystics, Atlanta Dream, Los Angeles Sparks, New York Liberty, and Phoenix Mercury. She maintained impressive averages of 9.8 points, 4.0 assists, and 2.9 rebounds per game, highlighting her versatility on the court.
