Lee Jung Sub’s romantic drama, “Love Song For Illusion,” features Park Ji Hoon and Hong Ye Ji as the captivating leads. This story is about a king with two very different sides and an assassin who tries to kill him but ends up falling in love with him.
Crown Prince Sajo Hyun is a smart guy who secretly works as a fashion designer. He hides his royal identity and carries a lot of pain from his tough childhood with his strict father, Sajo Seung. Another side of him, Ak Hee, is charming but feels pain when he touches people.
Yeon Wol has a wild life journey. She starts as an assassin, seeking revenge for her fallen royal family. Later, she becomes a concubine, hiding her true identity. Yeon Wol pretends to be an assassin named Gye Ra but loses her memory after a failed attempt to kill the king. As Yeon Wol and the king get closer, they both face big challenges and surprises.

Ak-hee manipulates situations to his advantage, prompting a confrontation with Sajo Hyun. Tragedy strikes as Master Yang sacrifices himself, revealing crucial truths. Sajo Hyun faces betrayal and danger from those around him.
