Married At First Sight Australia Season 11 Episode 1: Release Date, Spoilers & Recap

(Credits: Nine Network)

Nine’s Married At First Sight (AU) returns with a new set of singles that will marry their partners on their first day of meeting. After last season’s crazy ride, with Bronte, Cameron, Ollie, and the others, it’s time for another shot at the marriage experiment.

MAFS is a dating reality series that involves a group of select singles who are matched with others based on their personalities and other traits. These experts see if a scientifically perfect match would last in real life. The show then allows the singles to meet their partners on the day of the marriage and go through a bunch of tasks that would help in finding out if they are meant for each other or not.

While not a lot about the 11th season of MAFS Australia has been revealed, it includes a diverse range of contestants, with the oldest age being in the 60s. The latest season of MAFS also features nurses, marketing consultants, photographers, and physiotherapists.

Recap

Season 10 of MAFS Australia had some of the most stunning couples the show has ever had. The controversial Nine Network relationship series started with almost 20 hopeful singles looking forward to meeting their partners for the first time.

As the marriages kept happening, it was already apparent that there would be a lot of drama in this season. Bronte and Harrison might look like the perfect couple from the outside, but before they even get married, Bronte finds out that Harrison is a guy who’s known to be a walking red flag.

Despite knowing that, Bronte went ahead with the wedding. Melissa and Josh started well, but Melissa felt she was the man in the relationship and soon separated before the decision day. The 20 couples of Season 10 had to leave for the Honeymoons, where they were made to go through the Honesty Box task.

The couples also get to spend time with each other in their apartments and with their families to get to know each other beyond the experiment. Bronte and the others met each other’s families and friends, helping them find out what kind of person their partner is in real life.

Couples like Sandy & Dan, Bronte & Harrison, Claire & Jesse, Janelle & Adam, Caitlin & Shannon, Melissa & Josh, and Tayla & Hugo broke up before the final decision day. Although Tahnee & Ollie and Melinda & Layton chose to go ahead with the marriage and stay with each other outside the experiment, their real marriage didn’t last for long.

None of MAFS Season 10’s contestants are together as of now, including Tahnee and the others who said yes at the final commitment ceremony. Despite this experiment turning out to be a complete fail for the last season, it also happened to have the highest number of viewers for MAFS Australia.
