Megan Fox is responding to critics who made disparaging remarks about her appearance over the 2024 Super Bowl weekend.
On Wednesday, the actress from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, aged 37, shared images of herself with her fiancé, rapper Machine Gun Kelly. The couple posed alongside Taylor Swift and her partner, Travis Kelce. Megan Fox also included a second picture from the same evening.
The photographs were captured at Resorts World Las Vegas’ Zouk nightclub, following the Kansas City Chiefs’ win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. These images were initially posted on Tuesday by Chiefs supporter Joe Oravec.
Following the emergence of the photos, some online trolls targeted Fox’s facial features, alleging that the movie star had undergone plastic surgery.
“Oh my god guys look how different I…dont look at all,” the Expend4bles talent wrote in her Instagram caption.
“Turns out it was just a shadowy cell phone pic of me looking like a Ukrainian blowup doll,” she continued. “when in REALITY I look like one of those super expensive silicone real sex dolls you can only get in Japan.”
Last summer, Megan Fox candidly discussed not always feeling confident during an interview.
“I have body dysmorphia — I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me,” she said. “There’s never a point in my life where I loved my body, never, ever.”
“When I was little, that was an obsession I had of, like, but I should look this way,” the actress explained. “And why I had an awareness of my body that young I’m not sure, and it definitely wasn’t environmental because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even acknowledged.”
Fox added that learning to love herself is a “never-ending” journey.
Before joining Swift and Kelce for the festivities, both aged 34, the actress and the “Emo Girl” rapper, aged 33, reveled in Super Bowl weekend in Vegas.
The couple attended a Future concert at the Thomas & Mack Center on Friday, as videos from an MGK fan account depicted them coordinating in all-black attire.
Later, they went their separate ways, with Fox making a solo appearance at The One Party by Uber at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. She sported a studded black corset top, latex pants, and clear heels for the event.
Just days earlier, a source informed that a sighting of the on-again-off-again couple at an improv comedy show in Los Angeles “seemed like a date night.” According to the insider, Fox and Kelly “sat in the back for the entire show and were cozy” during their outing.
