Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, are celebrating the arrival of their baby girl. Announcing the joyful news on Instagram, Mike, 41, shared photos of Lauren, 39, holding their newborn daughter.
“Gym Tan Situation Family of 5, he wrote, introducing Luna Lucia Sorrentino, born on March 6th, 2024, at 3:49 pm, weighing 5 pounds 6 ounces and measuring 18.25 inches in length.
Despite the challenge of having “3 under 3,” Mike expressed their happiness, stating, “We wouldn’t have it any other way. The Instagram post also included pictures of Luna sleeping peacefully in her cradle and Mike proudly holding his new baby girl.
Their Jersey Shore castmates, including Jenni “JWoww” Farley and Paul “DJ Pauly D” DelVecchio, congratulated the couple warmly in the comments section, with DelVecchio writing, Full house!!!! Congrats Mike And Lauren’s!!!!
Before Luna’s birth, Mike and Lauren had been candid about their struggles with parenthood, particularly after Lauren revealed her miscarriage experience in 2019, describing it as “heart-wrenching” on Good Morning America.
Despite the hardships, they remained resilient, viewing each child as a blessing. The couple had announced Lauren’s pregnancy in September 2023.
The pair further expressed their excitement with the caption Good things come in threes, alongside photos of their family posing with Lauren’s sonogram.
