The sixth episode of Monsieur Spade debuted on AMC on Sunday, February 18. It opens with a poignant reminiscence. When Jean-Pierre and Marguerite (Louise Bourgoin) are seen cuddling in bed, it becomes clear that Marguerite is grieving since Jean-Pierre is getting ready to depart for the service.

He gets up, puts on his uniform, ties dog tags around his neck, gives her a kiss on the hand, and goes to make coffee in the kitchen. Marguerite is seen in the kitchen with two cups of coffee in a shifting shift that takes place in the present day, although she is not with Jean-Pierre.

After telling her about Jean-Pierre’s passing, Spade and Chief of Police Patrice Michaud (Denis Ménochet) are seated next to her. Spade (who is still smoking cigarettes) goes outside and follows a man who is speeding by on a motorcycle. The man is dressed entirely in black.

After a brief altercation, Spade refers to him as “a sap who’s been sucked into OAS bullshit” and orders him to quit attempting to protect them before he ends up dead. When Spade questions Helena (Clotilde Mollet) about Teresa’s alteration of Gabriella’s attire in the present, Helena responds, “Who do you think showed her how to use the sewing machine?”

Helena quickly corrects Spade when he becomes agitated by telling him, “They’re not your clothes.” Teresa could have done with them as she chose, and Gabrielle would have approved. Teresa merely wants your approval. We witness George Fitzsimmons meeting up with Sister Angelique’s sister back in the alleys!

He informs her he has two tickets for the train from Leon to Barcelona tomorrow as the two begin to make out passionately. It comes to light that she intends to leave Philippe and he intends to leave Cynthia; nevertheless, not long after they separate, Cynthia strikes George with her vehicle.

She shoots him three times and tosses his body into the trunk, saying, “All this time I thought you bent more for the blokes.” When you need Maurice, where is he? He continues to pursue the enigmatic moaning in the alleyways, which takes him to THE MONK, who is enslaving Teresa and using the same doll head dagger that she used to stab him before.

Teresa and Spade are having a moment while they watch Philippe being taken into arrest. “I’ll be ok if you don’t want me around,” Teresa assures him. And he says, “I need your help. Give me Sam. It’s hinted that they will look out for each other going ahead, along with Marguerite, as the two stand there looking like a fierce father and daughter team while sporting sunglasses.
