MTG Japan will release five special promo cards themed after Cowboy Bebop, offering players and collectors a chance to add unique and collectible cards to their decks. These promo cards, including “Ossification,” “Disdainful Stroke,” “Go for the Throat,” “Lightning Strike,” and “Snakeskin Veil,” will be available in sets released between August 2024 and May 2025.

Players and collectors can win exclusive playmats or card sleeves with a purchase of 3,000 yen worth of unopened MTG products from participating Wizard Play Network stores. For those attending the Japan Standard Cup at the Players Convention Aichi 2024, MTG Japan has prepared an extra treat. Participants in select tournaments will receive an original playmat featuring MTG characters inspired by Cowboy Bebop, adding a touch of nostalgia to their gaming experience.
