Resident Alien

NBCUniversal has renewed “Resident Alien” for a fourth season, shifting its broadcast from Syfy to USA Network. This renewal comes after the series enjoyed considerable success, with Season 3 averaging 3.3 million viewers. The show, a blend of science fiction and comedy-drama, is based on the Dark Horse comics by Peter Hogan and Steve Parkhouse.

The series stars Alan Tudyk, Sara Tomko, Corey Reynolds, Alice Wetterlund, Levi Fiehler, Elizabeth Bowen, Judah Prehn, and Meredith Garretson. It follows the story of an alien named Harry, who crash-lands on Earth with a mission to exterminate humanity.

However, in the third season, Harry collaborates with General McCallister to eliminate the Grey aliens, a mission complicated by the presence of Grey Hybrid Joseph, who has taken up a role as the new Deputy in the town.

He uncovered that the moon was actually a Grey spaceship and tried to sabotage their plan to change Earth’s atmosphere, which ultimately led to his imprisonment. This surprising twist has viewers eagerly anticipating how Harry’s situation will unfold in the upcoming season.

The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, in partnership with Amblin TV and Dark Horse Entertainment.
