Next Level Chef, the inventive food show hosted by Gordon Ramsay, was renewed by Fox for an additional two seasons. These will be seasons 3 and 4 of the reality cooking series. The announcement follows the cancellation of the show’s UK run in March 2023.

In the television series Next Level Chef, chefs from diverse backgrounds form teams to compete under the guidance of a celebrity mentor. The teams compete weekly for a seat in the top-level kitchen, where they can use the best tools and supplies. The tools and materials make things a little more difficult for the other two teams as they work on the two lower floors.

Recap

Gordon will mentor the professional chefs in the first round as they enter the basement kitchen. He clarifies that turning the fragments that fall onto the platform into something unique is their first task. Now begins their twenty minutes!

As soon as Jennie, a 41-year-old Waxhaw, North Carolina resident, tries to take some shrimp from Summer, a 31-year-old Austin, Texas cook who is pregnant, the competition heats up. Instead, Jennie is served chicken livers. Ari, a 31-year-old resident of San Diego, is worried about how she’s going to elevate hot dogs to a Next Level dish in the meanwhile.

More information on Zach, a 34-year-old who relocated to Maui, Hawaii in 2017, is revealed in the basement. His life was completely upended in 2023 when all he owned was destroyed by the Lahaina fires. Everything he possessed, including his home, was lost.

These days, Zach’s primary goal is to provide farm-to-table meals to those who have been displaced. Chris, a 37-year-old Orange County, California food truck proprietor, is across the kitchen. His life hasn’t been simple; as a teenager, he ended up in juvenile jail.

His father forced him to wash dishes in the restaurant when he was bailed out. Chris has dedicated this challenge to his dad, a Michelin-starred chef. The final decision is due now that the allotted time has passed. The ocean trout cooked to perfection in Ari’s dish with crushed peas is “gorgeous.”

Zach describes his blue cheese foam-topped beef filet as “rustic” and “under-seasoned.” Von’s sweet potato hash and New York strip have “depth of flavour” and “great sear.” Although the rice in Angela’s pork tenderloin is “cooked beautifully,” it lacks flavour.

The fish in Chris’ pan-seared turbo is expertly cooked and seasoned, but the sauce is “very sweet.” The “delicious” champagne tomato sauce that Charity’s scarlet prawns are served with is a little overdone. The judges announce Ari, Chris, Zach, Von, and Angela as the five professional chefs who will advance to the draft following one last round of voting.

Charity will therefore be returning home, but he leaves after stating that she had a great time. The mentors will pick their teams next week!
