Lifetime is planning a new documentary series focusing on Nicole Brown Simpson. This announcement follows the recent passing of OJ Simpson at the age of 76 after battling cancer.

OJ Simpson is most famously known for his involvement in the highly publicized murder trial of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994.

The new documentary series, titled “The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson,” aims to shed light on Nicole’s life and the tragic events surrounding her murder from her perspective.

Lifetime’s documentary will offer a unique angle by focusing on Nicole as a person rather than solely on the court proceedings.

Nicole Brown Simpson’s Untold Story

The documentary involves the participation of around 50 individuals close to Nicole. This includes her family members, providing insights into her life. It is set to air over two nights on Lifetime in June.

Lifetime’s upcoming documentary, The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, aims to finally shine a spotlight on Nicole and possibly Ron Goldman, whose tragic murders have long been overshadowed by the sensationalized court proceedings.

This follows the recent divisive Wendy Williams documentary. The documentary will be about the tumultuous relationship between Nicole and OJ Simpson, which includes documented instances of domestic abuse.

OJ quickly became the prime suspect due to evidence at the scene and a blood-stained glove found on his property. The media frenzy intensified when OJ failed to turn himself in. This led to the famous low-speed chase in his white Bronco.

However, amidst the sensationalism, the focus on the actual murders was often lost. The trial coincided with the Rodney King riots, and there were concerns about evidence tampering by the LAPD. OJ’s acquittal left the families without closure despite public opinion largely condemning him.
