The showdown unfolded at the Porto Expo Building on a Monday night, culminating in a resounding 117-100 victory for the OKC Blue over Maine. Thunder’s Ousmane Deing shone brightly, earning the MVP title with 25 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two crucial blocks.

The game kicked off with Oklahoma City dominating the first half, establishing a solid 29-22 lead. Their momentum surged in the second quarter, outscoring Maine by 16 points to head into halftime with a commanding 63-40 lead.

Despite a fierce battle in the third and fourth quarters, the OKC Blue maintained their lead, entering the final moments with a score of 92-67. Maine attempted a desperate comeback, but Oklahoma held firm.

As the final buzzer sounded, the OKC Blue made history as first-time G-League champions. Supporting Deing’s stellar performance was Lindy Water III, contributing 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Other two-way players also played vital roles: Olivier Sarr scored 10 points with 13 rebounds, Keyontae Johnson added 14 points, Adam Flagler netted 13 points, and Jahmi’us Ramsey contributed 18 points coming off the bench.
