In the latest One Piece chapter, there is a tense standoff unfolding on the island of Egghead. Bonney and her ally Atlas have fallen from the sky and are in peril. Desperate, Bonney cries out to her father Kuma and Dr. Vegapunk for help.
This prompts the Pacifista robots present to suddenly turn against the Marine forces, indicating Dr. Vegapunk had reprogrammed them.
However, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn quickly realizes Vegapunk’s betrayal. In retaliation, he violently stabs Vegapunk with his spear-like leg.
The situation then goes from bad to worse as Saturn commands Admiral Kizaru to kill everyone on the island, both Bonney’s group and the Marine troops.
Chapter 1107 picks up right where 1106 left off. Vegapunk explains he always feared Bonney would die at the hands of his Pacifista as a pirate. So he installed special programming, inspired by Bartholomew Kuma’s loyalty shift to the Straw Hats.
This makes Bonney the highest priority for all Pacifistas to protect, above even the Gorosei.
Vegapunk declares that no matter what, as Bonney’s father, he will never betray her. He urgently tells Atlas to inform Bonney she can control the Pacifistas now.
However, with Vegapunk gravely injured by Saturn and Kizaru poised to massacre everyone, both Bonney’s group and the Marines face extreme peril. There is serious potential for major character deaths in the next chapter.

Just as Kizaru is about to slaughter everyone on Dr. Vegapunk’s island, help suddenly arrives. Sanji and Franky show up to stop the Admiral’s rampage. But they are both quickly pierced through by Kizaru’s light beams.
Gear 5’s Heroic Entrance
Kizaru then sets his sights on finishing off Bonney.
However, Luffy makes a last-second entrance in his new Gear 5 form. He blasts Kizaru away with a powerful Haki-infused punch, saving Bonney from certain death.
Luffy then stretches the ground itself into rubber, allowing Bonney, Atlas, and the others to fall from the sky to land safely.
Saint Jaygarcia Saturn observes all this happen silently. Meanwhile, Kizaru is shown sitting on the ground, apparently unharmed by Luffy’s attack.
As Bonney rushes to her wounded father Dr. Vegapunk’s side, he reveals to her an important secret – that Luffy is actually Nika, the legendary warrior.
So while Luffy’s sudden arrival spares the lives of Bonney’s group, for now, Kizaru remains a threat. The chapter ends with the dramatic reveal of Luffy’s true identity and destiny to bring the Dawn of the World.

Bonney Can Now Control Pacifistas
Seeing Luffy striking Nika’s iconic sky-splitting pose, Bonney is moved to tears. Dr. Vegapunk remarks he wouldn’t have believed it if he hadn’t witnessed Luffy reveal himself as the prophesied Sun God Nika.
He reflects that the one who interested Kuma long ago turned out to be Nika himself.
In total disbelief, Bonney asks how this can be real. Scoffing at the idea of a Buster Call attack stopping Luffy, Dr. Vegapunk explains that people have been waiting centuries for Joyboy to appear as the legendary warrior Nika. Indeed, Luffy’s fate seems extraordinarily special.
Meanwhile, Luffy’s bold heartbeat rings out, stirring the Ancient Giant Robot on Egghead to begin moving again after ages of dormancy.
The chapter then shifts focus to the Navy blockade on the northeast coast of Egghead. The Marines spot an impossibly massive ship approaching that shouldn’t exist – a ship belonging to a group rumored to have disbanded 100 years ago.
Undeterred by the naval blockade, those aboard the mystery ship decide to blast through rather than stop.
While Bonney processes revelations about Luffy, more seismic events are unfolding across Egghead – from an ancient giant awakening to an advancing ship defying logic itself. The mounting excitement suggests even greater turbulence ahead.
Dorry and Brogy Got Reunited
The final pages of One Piece chapter 1106 unveil the identity of the mystery ship as none other than the Giant Warrior Pirates.
Led by familiar giants Dorry and Brogy, they effortlessly demolish the Marine battleships barricading Egghead’s northeast coast.
Dorry and Brogy declare they have arrived for an emergency rescue mission to save their ally – Straw Hat Luffy, now revealed as the legendary Sun God Nika.
So Luffy’s actions have garnered the attention and aid of giants from early in his journeys.
With this dramatic callback and the Giants’ devastating attack paving the way, the stage is set for Luffy and crew to escape the Marines’ clutches.
