Palworld: The Storm That Hit The Internet

Palworld, a game that took the internet by storm, has gotten nearly 10 million purchases since it was launched on January 19th, 2024, earlier this year. The game hasn’t even been out for a month, and it has already passed most games during launch purchases. That being said, does the game live up to the hype?

Even though the game has sold more copies than any Pokemon game during its release phase. Doesn’t always mean the game is good. It got a lot of hype before it was released.

How Good Is Palworld?

Palworld is also known to be the most watchlisted game on Steam. What can we say? A Pokemon clone but with guns is a well-needed thing in this lifetime, unlike most games. So far, this one has lived up to the hype.

It is much like Pokemon with guns, yes. However, it’s almost better than Pokemon. Some may agree some may disagree. However, half the players who have bought the game or downloaded Palworld to Xbox.

They have completed the tutorial. Which, on the other hand, isn’t that big of an accomplishment, unless you’ve played the game yourself and know what the tutorial consists of.

What Is Palworld’s Tutorial Like?

Like most games, the tutorial is only there to help the player understand the basics of the game. Unlike most games, the tutorial in Palworld isn’t intrusive, and you don’t “have” to complete it in order to progress throughout the game. While it is nice to do something like that, it isn’t very necessary.

There is one part of the tutorial that makes it impressive that so many players have completed it. Not only that but the time it takes to get to that point. You must defeat a boss that has a ton of hit points. Making it hard to beat early on in the game.

Paldex ‘n More

While the game is fairly new, there isn’t much data on the game just yet. This means any data that is found to be truthful can be fairly important early on in the game. Palworld Wiki is a great place to get a few different things, such as access to the;

Paldeck

The Paldeck is home to 137 different pals. Each of which have their own unique from or coloring to them. A Paldeck will typically keep track of which Pals you’ve caught, seen, and or how many of each you’ve caught.

This is a very useful feature in the game as not only will you want to know which Pals you still need to go after. You will also want to keep track of all the Pals you’ve already caught 10 Pals of.

This is because the game requires you to catch 10 of each Pal before you stop gaining experience for catching them. So if you catch 10 Lamball, the 11th one won’t grant any experience gain but maybe a very small percentage of what you’ve been getting. So technically, you need to catch 10 of each Pal before you have every Pal to complete the Deck.

Items

Unlike Pals, there are 717 items total within the game. However, that ranges from things such as gold, building materials, Weapons, ammo, and even sphears (what you catch Pals with). This means there should be many more items than Pals in the game. This is also where the “ ‘N More” comes in for the site. As we are now stearing away from the Paldex.

Mounts

Mounts are very interesting for a game like Palworld. You can’t just get a mount, and it’s not like the mount won’t be a Pal. So there are probably some questions about how you can use a mount in the game.

Well, it’s not too bad actually. All you need to do is hit call your Pal out, but first, you need a saddle. Once you have your Pal called out, hit “F,” and you should see your stamina bar. This is because mounts take up stamina.

Passive Skills

Like most passive skills are what they sound like. A skill that can be done passively or without interaction. On Paldexmn, there is a list of every passive skill ranked in order from best to worse. So if you are wondering what some of the best passive skills are, then that is a great place to check.
