TV personality Park Kyung Lim will take a two-week hiatus due to laryngitis. The press conference for the action series ‘The Roundup: Punishment,’ originally scheduled for her to host, will now be hosted by Heo Ji Young.

This news was announced on March 10, a day before the scheduled event, with the film’s team releasing an official press statement saying,

 “Park Kyung Lim has been suffering from laryngitis recently, and her throat condition has not been good.

Since her recovery has not been easy, after careful discussions between the production team and Park Kyung Lim, it was decided not to proceed with this event. Instead, Heo Ji Young will host the production briefing for ‘The Roundup: Punishment’ on the 11th.”

Park Kyung Lim was also scheduled to host the press conference for the Genie TV original drama ‘The Midnight Studio’ on the same day. However, she will be replaced by Lee Seung Guk.

Earlier this month, after spending a month on vacation in Jirisan in February, Park Kyung Lim hosted the press conference for the crime film ‘Comment Army’ held on March 4.

She also MCed the press conference of the new tvN drama ‘Queen of Tears‘ even with a sore throat condition.

At that time, she was already showing symptoms of laryngitis, speaking hoarsely to attendees during the ‘Comment Army’ event by saying,

“I wanted to greet you with a sweet voice like a squirrel since it’s been a month [since I’ve MCed an event], but I’m sorry for greeting you with a hoarse voice like a mountain goat. My voice has always sounded like I have a cold, but this time, it’s a real cold. Please understand.”
