Post Malone seems to be starting a fresh chapter. Recently, the “Sunflower” artist revealed a sneak peek on Instagram featuring an upcoming collaboration with Morgan Wallen.

In the brief 30-second snippet, Post Malone is captured smoking a cigarette, enjoying sips of beer, and crooning along to the music. He sports a green baseball cap adorned with “Dallas,” a suede jacket, and jeans.

“Let’s go with the real mix this time @morganwallen,” the singer/rapper captioned the post.

“It takes two to break a heart in two,” Wallen appears to sing before Malone interjects with the soulful line: “Baby you blame me, and baby I’ll blame you.”

Both artists joined forces for the anthemic chorus:

“I had some help, it ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself / Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf / If you couldn’t tell they say teamwork makes the dream work / Hell I had some help.”

In the comments, Malone’s label, Republic Records said:

“We are so ready!!!.”

Recently, the “Circles” artist has been gently transitioning fans into his country music phase. In February, he teased another country track, this time featuring Luke Combs, with whom he was also seen spending time this week.

Earlier this month, Malone took the stage at the American Rodeo in Dallas, delivering a cover of Toby Keith’s “As Good as I Once Was.” Paying homage to the late country star, who passed away at 62 in February, Malone poured beer out of a red Solo cup during his performance.

In the midst of his set, clad only in cutoff denim shorts, Malone picked up an acoustic guitar and delivered a poignant rendition of the 2005 hit. The song had previously topped the Billboard Hot U.S. Country Songs chart. Malone later shared a video of the performance on TikTok.

Brad Paisley recently disclosed that he and Post Malone had teamed up for a collaboration. Additionally, at the 2023 CMA Awards, the 10-time Grammy nominee paid tribute to the late Joe Diffie alongside Morgan Wallen and HARDY.

During a June 2022 interview on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Malone confessed that he had been considering the prospect of recording a country album.

“To be honest, there’s nothing stopping me from taking a camera or setting up in my studio in Utah and just recording a country album [to put] on YouTube,” he said at the time. “I’m allowed to do that, I’m a human being.”
