PRS Teams Up with Cult Classic Brewing for 'Paul’s Perfect Pour' Craft Beer

Paul Reed Smith, famous for making last year’s top-selling guitar, has teamed up with Cult Classic Brewing in Maryland to create ‘Paul’s Perfect Pour,’ a new craft beer. It’s a blend of Irish red and Kolsch styles designed for fans of guitars and beer alike. The beer launched during a celebration on Make Music Day, featuring local bands and a tribute to the Foo Fighters.

The intersection of beer and guitars is not new; previously, a New Zealand bar allowed patrons to pay for drinks with guitar performances, and bands like Metallica have had signature brews. ‘Paul’s Perfect Pour’ joins this tradition, celebrating both craftsmanship and community spirit.

Unfortunately, the beer is currently only available at Cult Classic Brewing’s bar in Kent Island, Maryland, with no online sales announced yet. This release follows closely on the heels of PRS’s SE NF3 guitar, featuring innovative Narrowfield DD ‘S’ pickups, which blend single-coil tones with humbucker builds.

Guitarist magazine’s Dave Burrluck hailed the SE NF3 as a quintessential PRS creation, not a mere adaptation of existing designs.

PRS ambassador Mark Tremonti hinted at future plans for artificially aged PRS guitars, adding another layer of excitement for fans. The introduction of ‘Paul’s Perfect Pour’ underscores PRS’s commitment to creativity across different realms, uniting music, craftsmanship, and community in a toast-worthy endeavor.
