Dalgonyak’s webtoon “Pyramid Game” is a 10-episode drama starring Bona, renowned for her role in “Joseon Attorney.” Bona plays Sung Soo-Ji, a student transferring to a new school in Seoul, hoping to find friends. However, during the monthly Pyramid Game, where votes determine popularity, things take a dark turn.
Similar to a popularity contest, getting the fewest votes spells trouble. Sung Soo-Ji receives zero votes, becoming a target for teasing. Despite seeking help, she feels isolated and alone, bullied by her classmates every day. Struggling to cope, Sung Soo-Ji feels trapped and unsupported in her ordeal.
In Episode 4 of Pyramid Game, Ye-won and Ha-rin have a secret meeting in the school backyard, but Ja-eun interrupts them. Soo-ji notices Ye-won leaving and asks what’s happening. Ha-rin suspects Soo-ji’s motives for befriending Ye-won, but Soo-ji denies it and refuses Ha-rin’s friendship offer.
