Randi Martin, mother of Patrick Mahomes, spoke honestly on “The Mom Game Podcast” about how tough it’s been raising a son who’s a three-time Super Bowl champ. She said it’s been the hardest seven years of her life, even though she’s grateful for Patrick’s success. Dealing with his fame makes her cry a lot and juggling everything is a real struggle.
Living in Texas with her daughter Mia, Randi admitted she feels jealous sometimes watching friends whose lives aren’t so public. They rarely go out in their hometown because of the attention. Her job as an event planner also gets complicated with so many people trying to reach out to her because of Patrick.
Despite all the stress, Randi tries hard not to let it affect her kids. She’s proud of Patrick for working so hard at football and being a good dad to his kids with Brittany Mahomes, Bronze and Sterling.
Randi also talked about the tough time her older son Jackson went through after he got in trouble with the law last year. It’s been a strain on the family, but Randi stays close to her friends for support.
Looking ahead, Randi is taking things one day at a time, balancing the highs and lows of fame while keeping her family close and focused on what matters most.
