She recounted a distressing experience with a former unnamed co-star, whom she labeled an “absolute idiot.” This individual reportedly screamed at her and mistreated her in front of the crew on a past set.

Despite ruling out Hugh Jackman and Tom Cruise as potential suspects, speculation about the identity of the co-star continues. Ferguson’s story highlights the importance of standing up against mistreatment in the entertainment industry.

One of Rebecca Ferguson‘s former scene partners, Dwayne Johnson, took to social media to commend her bravery. On X, he expressed his support, stating,

“Hate seeing this but love seeing her stand up to bulls–t. Rebecca was my guardian angel sent from heaven on our set. I love that woman.”

“I’d like to find out who did this,” Johnson added. The pair worked together on 2014’s “Hercules.”

Another former co-star, Emily Blunt, who collaborated with Ferguson on “The Girl on the Train” in 2016, chimed in on the conversation. Blunt emphasized the positive relationship between them, stating they have “nothing but love between them.”

“I remember being so scared and I looked at this person and I said, ‘You can F off. I’m going to work towards a tennis ball. I never want to see you again,’” she recalled saying.

Following the incident and a crucial conversation with the director, the atmosphere on set notably improved.

“I’m not scared of the consequences of saying what I think,” Ferguson said. “So, I use my voice a lot.”
