It was clear by the way Heinley was acting that he had something planned but Navier decided not to push him about it.
After that, Lady Laura comes up to Navier and tells her that she saw Lady Nian and Viscount Landre fighting in the center of the city. Navier was a bit surprised by that but Laura insisted that it was true. She also said that Marquis Liberty had been courting Lady Nian lately and that might have been the reason behind their fight.
He tells her with great concern that Heinley asked Marquis Kathron to lend him his body last night and kicked Mckenna out. Navier understood that Heinley must have asked Marquis Kathron to help him with magic but it was really funny to watch poor Mckenna digest Navier’s casual attitude to the information.
