Earth’s future is in jeopardy in the just released third season of Resident Alien. But this time, Harry is trying to protect the Earth rather than plotting its destruction. This week, our hero hasn’t let up in his animosity toward Joseph, the hybrid of Grey and Human.

One of the things that makes the show unique is its odd sense of comedy. This also holds true for “The Upper Hand,” which never fails to make people laugh uncontrollably. Some of the jokes, meanwhile, are more profound and skillfully relate to a variety of scenarios.

Whether it’s Max playing the Alien Tracker or the mayor clumsily posing for foot fetishists, these jokes advance the plot by tying up loose ends and revealing new information.

Harry Vanderspiegel questioned why people believed they should be treated any differently than other living things on Earth that have to struggle to exist at the start of the episode.

Harry’s realization at the end of the episode reinforced his resolve to fight for the people he has grown to love and reinforced the value of living every minute of every year or every second of our 141-second equivalent to earth.

Harry is making a lot of effort to get to know those in his immediate vicinity because doing so will assist him in meeting his needs. Realizing how little he actually understands about people and eventually falling in love with them in spite of himself, however, is a part of his process.

Accompanying the Hawthorne family on their vacation brought up much humor and embarrassment, along with profound sadness and the realization that The Greys intend to utilize Yellowstone’s inherent powers to wipe off humanity, if not the entire world. Disgrace to them.

I’m sending Chris Sheridan a note to ask him to kindly take a vacation from Kate and Ben Hawthorne. Yes, they have each other and are, thank God, finally on the right track in their marriage.

Ben and Kate are very quirky. Ben believes that his oddities date back to his early years, but it appears that the extraterrestrial abductions may have started even earlier, profoundly influencing their upbringing and possibly their parenting.

I’ve always questioned why they treat Max so leniently. Perhaps, deep down, they just anticipate losing him as well. If you never know when a child will be taken away, how could you ever get close to them, even if they are the only one they allow you keep?

Would it have been too much to expect for Kate to receive her hot stone massage or for them to drink coffee in their rooms during this trip, which brought up so many painful memories for them?
