When Ronda Rousey stepped away from professional wrestling following her SummerSlam fight against Shayna Baszler last year, it created a stir in the wrestling industry. She did, however, make news recently when she discussed her stint in the WWE and accused another WWE star of acting inappropriately.

In a NewsNation interview, Rousey talked about the injustice of WWE wrongdoing. Even though Rousey hadn’t personally witnessed it from Vince McMahon, she disclosed coming across improper conduct within the organization’s ethos.

In the writer’s room, Rousey described a disturbing occurrence in which someone took her sweatpants’ string without her permission. Nobody seemed to care that she was uncomfortable, which highlights the worrying normalcy of this kind of behavior.

Rousey identified Drew Gulak and confronted him about his actions after being questioned about the offender. Despite Gulak’s apology, Rousey was left wondering about the culture and treatment of women at WWE after the incident.

Even though Rousey has retired from professional wrestling, her disclosures cause people to consider how the WWE treats women and give rise to questions about workplace culture.
