In the last chapter of RuriDragon, Ruri Aoki’s mother took her to a play area for some exercise, believing it would help Ruri control her dragon traits. It was a heartfelt moment between mother and daughter, showing their bond.
Ruri Aoki waking up excited for a day out with her mother on the weekend. She hops into the car, buckles up her seat belt, and her mother takes the wheel.
Suddenly, Ruri emits static electricity, causing a pause in their journey. The chapter then shifts to a flashback, where Ruri’s mother explains to her daughter how a dragon can summon lightning.
She believes her daughter’s ability is a ‘perk’ linked to the broader dragon ability. Furthermore, she thinks Ruri’s traits might be in a frenzy, possibly leading to her firing an actual lightning bolt.
Ruri’s mom tells her it’s really important to keep her powers in check. She gets ready for an exciting day and tells Ruri to rest well.
Back in the present, Ruri’s mom gives her an anti-static band to prevent any more surprises. Then, she takes Ruri to a play zone for outdoor games and exercise.
Ruri’s mom thinks that Ruri’s frenzy state is causing the random outbursts and dry spells. She sees it as a sign that her body isn’t working right.
Knowing that proper blood flow helps control these things, she believes Ruri needs to exercise properly. The chapter shows Ruri and her mom playing different outdoor games together.
Ruri is amazed at how good her mom is at almost every game. She’s also happy to see her mom having a lot of fun.
Even though Ruri feels a little shy playing games with her mom, she decides to give it her all. The chapter ends with Ruri looking determined.
Expectation
In the next chapter of RuriDragon, we might see Ruri continuing her training. Her mom believes that exercise can help her control her powers better.
It’ll be interesting to find out if Ruri can learn to manage her electric outbursts, similar to how she handled the fire.
