Ryoko Fukuyama, the creator of “Anonymous Noise,” is set to release a new one-shot manga in April

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume magazine had some great news to share on Tuesday.

They announced that a new short manga by Ryoko Fukuyama, titled “Kocho no Hanashi ga Nagai” (The Principal’s Speech is Long), will be in the magazine’s ninth issue on April 5.

Fukuyama teased fans on their X account, saying they’re also working on a completely new series. So, manga fans, get ready for more exciting stories coming your way soon. 

Fukuyama finished the “Koi ni Mudaguchi” (36000 Seconds in a Day, or Chatter About Love) manga in July 2023. Hakusensha released the manga’s last 12th book volume on September 20.

Fukuyama began the manga in Hana to Yume magazine in September 2019. The new one-shot manga gives a sneak peek, saying, “A fateful event occurred during the boring school entrance ceremony.

The manga became so popular that it inspired a live-action TV series, which started airing in Japan in April 2022.

Back in April 2013, Fukuyama began the “Anonymous Noise” manga in Hana to Yume magazine. The series came to an end in January 2019. People who speak English can read the manga, thanks to Viz Media releasing it.

Then, in April 2017, a 12-episode anime version of the manga hit TV screens in Japan. Sentai Filmworks got the rights to the anime and showed it on Amazon’s old Anime Strike service in the US.

For fans outside the US, Crunchyroll streamed the series. By June 2018, Sentai Filmworks had the series on home video with English voices, and HIDIVE started streaming the English version that same month.

The manga was so popular that they made a movie based on it, which came out in Japan in November 2017.

In September 2019, Fukuyama started another manga called “Kikenai Yoru wa Nai” (The Unhearing Nights are Dead) in Young Animal Zero magazine. The story is still going, and Hakusensha released the third volume on January 29.

1) Anonymous Noise Story

A girl named Nino who sang songs at the beach every day with a mask on. When she was little, she had two special friends, Momo and Yuzu. They promised that if they ever got separated, Nino’s songs would bring them back.

Years passed, and Nino, Momo, and Yuzu ended up in the same high school. But things were different now. Nino kept singing, hoping to keep her promise. Yuzu remembered his feelings for Nino, and Momo didn’t want them to be friends again. 

2) Nousatsu Junkie

Naka, a new model, gets super nervous during photoshoots, causing her face to go wild. Her rival, Umi, is the top model at the agency.

3) Monokuro Shounen Shoujo

Kureha, a 15-year-old girl, transfers to Shiritsu Kenhono High School. But there’s a twist it’s a school for beast-kind Princes and Princesses.

As the only human, Kureha’s role is to help them live peacefully with humans, playing the part of the rabbit.
