Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler made a dazzling appearance at the 2024 CMT Awards, marking their first public outing together since reconciling after a brief split in 2022.

The couple exuded joy as they walked the red carpet, with Hunt, 39, looking sharp in a brown plaid suit and Fowler, 35, stunning in a black lace gown.

Photographs captured them beaming for the cameras, with Fowler gracefully wrapping her hand around her husband’s arm.

Their journey to reconciliation has been tumultuous. In February 2022, Fowler filed for divorce from Hunt, citing his adultery and revealing her pregnancy in legal documents obtained.

However, in April of the same year, she called off the divorce shortly before giving birth to their first child, daughter Lucy Louise, in May.

The couple expanded their family with the arrival of their son, Lowry Lee, born in October 2023.At the CMT Awards, Hunt performed his latest song, “Locked Up,” which pays tribute to Fowler and her unwavering support through challenging times, including his 2019 DUI arrest.

In the lyrics, he expresses gratitude for his wife’s steadfastness, singing,

“When you picked up my pieces and my only call/I knew you were in, baby, in for the long haul.”

In a September 2022 interview on Audacy’s Katie & Company podcast, the country singer attributed fatherhood to providing him with a newfound sense of purpose.

“[Fatherhood] has given me such a sense of purpose — at home and out on the road. A new appreciation for life in general,” he said. “I think I leveled up overnight, evolved 10 or 20 years overnight.”

After Fowler called off her petition for divorce in 2022, a source close to the couple told,

“They are doing their best every day. Sam and his wife are continually looking forward to the next chapter. He’s just thinking about his family and what’s to come.”
