Together, they performed a duet of Nancy Sinatra’s iconic song “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.” Carpenter introduced Musgraves with heartfelt words, sharing how much the singer has meant to her throughout her life.

Musgraves, who had performed the Sinatra cover extensively between 2014 and 2016 but hadn’t revisited it since, joined Carpenter on stage for a lively rendition. The two artists traded verses and strutted confidently across the stage, much to the delight of the crowd.
