Developed by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan, S.W.A.T. is an Action and Drama television series that debuted in 2017 and stars Shemar Moore. The show centres on a squad of Los Angeles Police Department SWAT officers as they work to maintain municipal safety.

The star of the procedural action show S.W.A.T., Shemar Moore, gives a preview of what to expect in the next few episodes, revealing some “surprises” for the crew. To provide the series a fitting ending, CBS swiftly overturned its May 2023 cancellation of the show. With just 13 episodes in its last season, the show will bid adieu to its characters and plots.

Moore gave a sneak peek at some surprises in store for S.W.A.T. season 7 when speaking with TV Insider. Although the series lead thinks the episode ends appropriately, she does admit that there will be many surprising moments. See what Moore said in the section below.

Everything To Expect In SWAT Season 7

We’re leaving with our guns blazing. A lot of surprises are present. It’s not a perfectly tidy season. To put it another way, SWAT will be put to the test, which I find intriguing. Friction is going to occur. The question of whether or not SWAT can save the day will be put to the test.

However, as previously mentioned, there will be some surprises in store for the fans, which will, in my opinion, make for exciting television. But by the time we reach 13, I’m confident that SWAT will be victorious, and if it means saying farewell, then we can go into the sunset with pride.

Other than giving the various characters on the show closure, it’s presently unknown what unexpected things will happen in season 7. The final episodes of the show will probably consist of a combination of weekly cases and character narratives being developed, considering how the past seasons have played out.

This covers the fallout from the team’s confrontation with the Zamora Cartel after season 6, as well as the surprising ways in which the show will alter their lives going forward. The characters that no longer appear on S.W.A.T. could also surprise viewers with unexpected cameos.

One such character is Lina Esco’s Chris Alonso, who left the program after season 5. Although there have been no confirmed shocking cameos as of this writing, Moore’s mention of “surprises” suggests that some returnees may have made debuts in recent episodes.

If this is the case, it would help complete the circle of the series and provide the regular characters with a fitting send-off. But it appears that S.W.A.T. season 7 will primarily concentrate on wrapping up the stories of its current main characters, giving the program a fitting amount of closure.

Moore has hinted at the exceptional climax the series would receive, so it’s safe to say that it will be a memorable send-off for the well-liked drama. As the last episodes air, the fullness of the series’ triumphant finale will become clear.
