SHINee’s Taemin has officially joined a new agency! On April 1, Big Planet Made Entertainment announced that Taemin had signed an exclusive contract with the agency.

After 16 years at SM Entertainment, Taemin’s exclusive contract with his longtime agency expired in March- stated the announcement.

However, SM Entertainment clarified that SHINee’s group activities would remain under their management, indicating that only Taemin’s solo endeavors would be handled by Big Planet Made Entertainment.

Big Planet Made Entertainment stated,

“We recently signed an exclusive contract with singer Taemin, who is unparalleled in his activities both as SHINee’s main dancer and as a solo artist.

We will actively support Taemin’s wide range of activities in his music career, and we will do our utmost so that he can soar in broader places and in a variety of directions. We ask that you give lots of support and love to Taemin as he makes a new start.”

Taemin initially debuted under SM Entertainment as part of SHINee in 2008, later venturing into his solo career in 2014.

Big Planet Made Entertainment, home to artists such as VIVIZ, former NU’EST member Ren, Ha Sung Woon, Lee Mujin, Huh Gak, BE’O, and more, is his new agency.

Recently, comedian and broadcast personality Lee Soo Geun also joined.

Taemin is set to reveal his new official website under Big Planet Made Entertainment on April 1 at 3 p.m. KST.
