Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have finalized their divorce, with court documents confirming the proceedings were signed off by a judge on Thursday, April 4.

Per their prenuptial agreement, each will retain their individual assets and cover their respective attorney’s fees. The couple announced their separation in July 2023 after seven years together and filed for divorce shortly thereafter.

In their joint statement, they expressed mutual love and respect while asking for privacy during this transition. Manganiello filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, with the date of separation listed as July 2, 2023.  

Vergara subsequently requested enforcement of their prenuptial agreement, ensuring her ownership of assets such as artwork and jewellery.

Despite the public nature of their split, Vergara has appreciated the respectful coverage and has been candid about the divorce during interviews.

The Modern Family star acknowledged the inevitable questions and expressing gratitude for the considerate approach from the press. She has emphasized her focus on moving forward amidst ongoing professional commitments. The former pair has reportedly moved on with their respective new partner.
